It all comes full circle. When in 2016 π-electronics emerged as a subsidiary label of Modal Analysis after first establishing itself through events in Athens, its first release, «π01», was by Vofa, a collaborative effort between ANFS and Sawf. Last Friday, the label reached its fifth offering, «π05», which you can stream below and once again comes courtesy of the duo. Suffice it to say, shit is much, much heavier this time with some unsubtly pronounced industrial leanings along the way.

«π05» is available in vinyl and digital formats at this location. It stands as the label’s second release this year, after the entrancing «π05» by JK Flesh from back in February (still digitally available here).

Quick Update

It seems that Eagle Twin is heading to Europe next fall to promote the recently released beast of a record that is «The Thundering Heard (Songs of Hoof and Horn)». Today, the band was announced for Desertfest Antwerp, which takes place between October 12 and 14. This follows the announcement from last month that their European tour will start on October 5 in Oslo at the Kulturkirken.

The other names confirmed today for the Antwerp edition of the itinerant festival, which will take place in Trix, are Black Moth, Dopethrone, Elder, and Sasquach. More information about the event is available here.
