We return from break with a round-up regarding a new song from «Isa», by Croation Amor, the new year’s eve release by Dead Neanderthals, and Mories‘ first 2019 release, his fourth as Hagetisse.
Croation Amor reveal new song from «Isa»
As we previously reported on, Croation Amor is set to release «Isa» later this week. After the unveiling a first track from the album, featuring Jonnine Standish, back in November, a second piece was revealed in December, entitled «In Alarm Light» and featuring vocals by Soho Rezanejad, which you can stream below.
«Isa» will be released through posh isolation on the upcoming Friday, January 25 in vinyl format. Pre-orders are available at this location. A release live event for the album will be held in The Waiting Room in London on Friday (more information available here).
Dead Neanderthals release «Gestation»
For the third year in a row, Nijmegen based experimental duo Dead Neanderthals has finished the year by presenting the world with a new one-track release. After «Dolphin» in 2016 and «Organ Donor» in 2017, they released «Gestation» on December 31 2018, which you can stream below.
Available at this location in a “name your price” regime, «Gestation» sees the duo continue their exploration of synthesiser use alongside their regular instruments of choice in drums and saxophone. The track was mixed and mastered by Marlon Wolterink at the White Noise Studio, while its artwork is a collaborative effort between Dead Neanderthals and Rutger Zuydervelt.
The aforementioned first two new year’s releases are respectively available here and here.
Hagetisse release «De Reis Van Vernielde Zielen
Back in September 2017, Gnaw Their Tongues mastermind Mories unveiled a new black metal project by the name of Hagetisse through the release of «Werg Devoot», written a couple of months prior. He then went on a writing binge of rather melodic black metal (at least for his standards), recording «GODENDRAAK» in October and releasing it in November, and recording «The Sinister Flight Of Cursed Souls Through Eternal Night» between November and December, releasing it in December.
Hagetisse is now back with its fourth record, «De Reis Van Vernielde Zielen», which was recorded back in the Summer of 2018 and released digitally on January 9, 2019.
«De Reis Van Vernielde Zielen» is available digitally at this location. It is set for physical release in cassette and cd formats sometime later this year.
The first three records from Hagetisse can be found in digital format here («Werg Devoot»), here («GODENDRAAK»), and here («The Sinister Flight Of Cursed Souls Through Eternal Night»).
