Idle Hands release song from debut album

The Gabriel Franco-led heavy metal / goth quartet Idle Hands have had some rather remarkable first few years of existence. A couple of months after the digital release of the debut EP «Don’t Waste Your Time» in June last year, Aderlass Kunstverlag and Lone Fire Records issued limited runs in cassette, vinyl and cd, with Eisenwald putting out another cd run of it in November. Less than a year after the EP hit the digital world, they currently find themselves amidst an European tour with Gaahls WYRD, Tribulation, and Uada, which will last until March 10. Exactly two months later, the band will release its full-length debut, «Mana».

Below, listen to the record’s fifth track, «Give Me To The Night». If the song leads you to anxiously scramble to find if there’s still any date of the current tour you can catch, don’t worry, we’ve got them all listed at the end of the article.

«Mana» is set for release on May 10 via Eisenwald on cassette, cd, digital, and vinyl formats. Pre-orders are available at this location. The album was recorded at the Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California and at the Falcon Studios in Portland, Oregon, between November 2018 and January. All songs and lyrics were written by Gabriel Franco, with Sebastian Silva and Colin Vranizan joining for subsequent arrangements. The album’s sound engineer was Gabe Johnson, who teamed with Franco on mixing and with Franco and Silva on production. Mastering was then done by Brad Boatright.

All dates of the current tour can be found in the poster below, with detailed information about each event available here. Note that Idle Hands are already scheduled to return to Europe in May, with two events in Germany and Sweden having already been announced.
