Formed by members of post hardcore collectives We Never Learned to Live and Finis Omnivm, London based post metal duo Thårn didn’t even manage to play a first concert before the lockdowns descended on us all last year. They did, however, managed to release a debut EP in early 2020 and use the remaining of the year to write their first full-length album, «Collisions», one whose press release explains finds “a dark and pained sound that evokes so vividly the torment of isolation, restriction and stagnation into four lengthy, apocalyptic songs.” The album was produced by Joe Clayton, recorded in Manchester at the No Studio and mastered by Will Killingsworth and its first single «The Way» can be heard below.
«Collisions» is set for release on November 12 by Surviving Sounds and Trepanation Recordings on cassette, cd, and digital formats. Pre-orders can be found here (cassette and digital) and here (cd and digital).
«I» was independently released on January 11, 2020, and can be digitally found at this location.
