We’d been anxiously awaiting for this ever since «Donovan’s Daughter» dropped back in March with its unbelievably heavy last section, and today is the day: Gnod have officially released their new record «Chapel Perilous», which you can of course stream below.
«Chapel Perilous» was recorded at the Supernova studio in Eindhoven with Bob De Wit, who had also been in charge of the recording of Temple Ov BBV‘s self-titled last year (the collaboration joining Gnod with dutch act Radar Men From The Moon). It’s now available in digital (here), cd and vinyl through Rocket Recordings. Unfortunately, the physical copies available to order online through the label have sold out with the pre-orders and therefore such items can now only be found in “in all good stores”, to quote the label.
Following today’s release, Gnod embarks tomorrow on the continental part of their European tour (the UK leg ends tonight in Brighton) alongside Brooklyn duo Insect Ark, beginning with an appearance in the Sonic Whip Festival in Nijmegen and ending in London on May 13.
