The Body recording another collaboration

As usual, The Body has had a busy year, having released a (strong) candidate to album of the year in «I have fought against it, but I can’t any longer.» and the «Mental Wounds Not Healing» collaboration with New York based industrial Uniform. That’s not all, though, as late last month they recorded and released a new EP, part of which you can stream below, entitled «O God who avenges, shine forth. Rise up, Judge of the Earth; pay back to the proud what they deserve.»

The recording took place in October 13 and 14 at the Start / Stop studios in Portland, it was engineered and mastered by Robert Comitz and features additional drumming by Zachary Jones, it will be available on cd on the band’s upcoming US tour and on tape via ABWTB (there is a possibility that Thrill Jockey will also have some copies). The aforementioned tour will take the entirety of November, include several dates with Author and Punisher, Street Sects, and Intensive Care, as well as a bunch of collaborative sets with Uniform. It is precisely with their co-authors of «Mental Wounds Not Healing» that The Body are at the studio now, recording their second collaboration as confirmed by the band through their facebook page.
