Drone legends Earth have announced the upcoming release of «Full Upon Her Burning Lips», the ninth full-length in their storied career. The album is set to mark a return to a more minimalist state of affairs and was crafted by Dylan Carlson on guitar and bass and Adrienne Davies on drums and percussion. As stated in its press release, the album sees them “scaling back the flourishes of their hulking, drone-driven opuses.” Moreover, it results of a writing process “sans narrative, relying instead on their collective subconscious to hone in on the overarching muse as the songs developed.” Below, listen to «Cats On Briar», the third of the ten compositions that form «Full Upon Her Burning Lips».

«Full Upon Her Burning Lips» is set for release through Sargent House on May 24 on cd, digital, and vinyl formats. Pre-orders are available here (cd and vinyl) and here (digital).
