This should be a joyous piece of news, after all, one of the most innovative black metal bands in existence, has made their fantastic new album available for streaming almost an entire month before release. Alas, the reasoning behind the move is quite unfortunate and can be read in a statement by Blut Aus Nord, which we reproduce below in its entirety.

Considering the album is spreading with no respect to its creators, we’ve decided to release “Hallucinogen” earlier than expected.
Debemur Morti Productions will be shipping the CD/Cassette version to people who pre-ordered it next week. Vinyl isn’t here yet, thanks for your patience.

As we mentioned in a more in-depth piece earlier this month, «Hallucinogen» is said begin “a new era for Blut Aus Nord, ending the cycle of clandestine industrialised dissonance that culminated with previous transmission Deus Salutis Meae and moving skyward into freshly melodic territories of progressive clarity.” Now, you can verify the statement for yourself by simply listening to it below.
