Rebel Wizard, the heavy-meets-black metal alter ego of Nekrasov, will soon be releasing its third full-length, «Magickal Mystical Indifference». In April, upon the release of the album’s first single, the wizard told of rain, of sorrow, and of a feline cat sorrowfully lost, “you might remember the day last year,” he began, “when upon the entire globe was drenched in non-stop rain. Well, let us reveal the truth of that down pour. It was on that day the wizard held his cat as she was injected with the no more. So it was not rain but the wizards tears. The song did then follow.” Below, witness the video for «not rain but the wizards tears», a song which as the description suggests, has less of an epic slant than say «The prophecy came and it was soaked with the common fools forboding», from the previous album «Voluptuous worship of rapture and response».
A month after the first, a second single was released, this time carrying a less gloomy mood and going by the name of «raiseth up all those that be bowed down», a song which you can hear below while you witness the album’s glorious pink cover.
«Magickal Mystical Indifference» is set for release on July 20 by Prosthetic Records on cd, digital, and vinyl formats, all of which can be pre-ordered here.
