“The speed of UK82, the terror of punk, the solid mass of Oi!. Like a bar stool breaking through a bus stop, there’ll always be THE CHISEL,” so said sound engineer Jonah Falco regarding The Chisel‘s debut EP «Deconstructive Surgery», released last June through La Vida Es Un Mus. This Friday, the Blackpool quintet is set to release another EP, entitled «Come See Me / Not The Only One». The ever expressive Falco once again commented on the release he recorded, mixed, and mastered at Fuzzbrain, “where once there was explosive energy there was now a void. Lucky for me, the 5 loveable lads from Blackpool, Croydon, Acton, Chingford, and Guildford KEPT IT MOVIN, and just when I thought all was lost they brought me back in. Three more blasts of full fat extra saturated deep fried limb swinging confrontational uplifting chisel chiselling punk for that special space in your life. Enough said? No. Cos they’ve done it again.” Below, listen to the explosive «Not The Only One», the second of third tracks of the upcoming EP.
«Come See Me / Not The Only One» is set for release on January 15 through La Vida Es Un Mus on digital and vinyl formats. Pre-orders are available here. Below, further recall the excellent «Deconstructive Surgery», released on June 13, 2020 through La Vida Es Un Mus and still available on digital and vinyl formats at this location.
