Sometime during last year’s quarantine days, Cosmic Putrefaction‘s multi-instrumentalist Gabriele Gramaglia and Krallice‘s bassist Nicholas McMaster conceived the first collection of songs of Turris Eburnea, their new project of experimental death metal, with the former also handling mixing and mastering duties. Ahead of its upcoming release, half of the EP has been unveiled. Below, listen to its second track, «Cotard Delusion».
The artwork seen above was created by Babar Moghal, while the band’s logo (also seen in the article’s cover) was done by STRX. The song following «Cotard Delusion», titled «Syncretism Incarnate», is set to feature guest classical guitar by Pietro Rodeghiero. Below, listen to the EP’s closing track, «Malachite Mountains».
«Turris Eburnea» is set for release on March 15 by Caligari Records and Everlasting Spew on cassette, cd, and digital formats. Pre-orders can be found here (cassette) and here (cd and digital).
