Kentucky trio Black Knife are heading to the release of their second album, «Murder Season», a mere two years after unleashing their «Spell Caster» debut (see end of the piecce). The album, “recorded with vile intent and hate for humanity in the year 2020” and evoking “fast and sleazy black metal frenzy in the vein of Venom,” will be out by the end of this week, but the black punk thrash trio has decided to make it available for streaming ahead of time. Recorded by Richard Brinegar, mixed and mastered by Jason Groves, the album features cover art by Eye Dust and additional synths by David Reed. Below, listen to all “eleven tracks of evil, adrenaline-fueled anarchy!” that comprise «Murder Season».
«Murder Season» is set for release on February 5 by Husk Records, Jems Label, and Morbid and Miserable on cassette, cd, digital, and vinyl formats. Pre-orders can be found here and here (cassette).
