As we previously reported, new dutch extreme collective Autarkh, born of the ashes of dodecahedron, is set to release its debut LP this week. Then, only «Turbulence», the album’s second track, had been unveiled. In the meantime, two additional songs were made public. First, we have «Lost To Sight», whose video, shot by Guilherme Henriques at the Wagenmakerij and Textiel Museum in Tilburg, can be seen below. According to the band, some of the beats heard in the song feature sounds from old weaving looms that were recorded in the same museum.
Finally, there is «Alignment», with the band’s guitarist and vocalist Michel Nienhuis explaining that “a place of uncertainty can be a fertile ground if you are open to any way a situation might unfold. All might as well occur in your favor and it could feel like you don’t need to go with the flow because you are the flow,” further adding that the song tries to “capture this most desirable form of motion, a realm where time and space are aligned. A truly astonishing state of being that ultimately leads to catharsis, self-government and independnece.”
«Form In Motion» is set for release on March 12 through Season Of Mist on cd, digital, and vinyl formats. Pre-orders are available here.
