As we previously reported, The Body and BIG|BRAVE are set to release a collaboration entitled «Leaving None But Small Birds». Today, a new song from the album was released, «Polly Gosford», which is the result of an “amalgamation of traditional songs from Appalachia, Canada, and the British Isles.” Moreover, it is in «Polly Gosford» that lies the origin for the album title, as Robin Wattie‘s lyrics for the song include the lines “He covered her grave / and hastened home / Leaving none but small birds / her fate to bemoan.”

«Leaving None But Small Birds» is set for release on October 1 through Thrill Jockey on cd, digital, and vinyl formats, whose pre-orders are available here.
