Bob Vylan release «Pretty Songs» single

Incendiary punk grime duo Bob Vylan has released a new single entitled «Pretty Songs». The release happened last week, on the last day of the «We Live Here Tour», featuring Witch Fever and Zand as special guests, and ahead of the band’s performance at the Alt London Festival. This comes on the heels of last year’s fantastic EP «We Live Here», which features some extremely relevant social critique within its lyrics, as well as a great balance between their grime and punk sides. The new song showcases their heavier side – don’t be fooled by the acoustic introduction – and carries on with the recurring anti-racist themes, adding a rather well-put anti-pacifist slant to the proceedings. You can watch the video for «Pretty Songs» below, directed by Dylan Hayes, with Owain E. Morgan as director of photography, Toshiro Gohma as make-up artist, and Sabine Khabiri as runner. The song was written, produced, and mixed by Bob Vylan and mastered by Kevin Tuffy.

«Pretty Songs» was self-released in digital format on August 27 and can be purchased here.

Below, revisit the parts of «We Live Here» available for free streaming on bandcamp.

«We Live Here» was released on February 12, 2020, by Venn Records and Ghost Theatre Records on cassette, cd, digital, and vinyl formats. The cd, digital, and vinyl versions of the EP can be found here.
