As we pointed out here, C.G., the man behind Vertebra Atlantis, has been a rather relentless creator of fascinating black death metal over the last few years, with some of his recent activities including Cosmic Putrefaction and Turris Eburnea. For the Vertebra Atlantis debut, titled «Lustral Purge In Cerulean Bliss», we should expect “dissonant black metal, dark atmospheres, and monolithic death metal.” Indeed, that is exactly what we get in the recently revealed album’s title-track, which you can hear below.
