Gnaw Their Tongues have announced the release of «Kapmeswonden En Haatliederen», which as can be seen in the picture below consists of unreleased, leftover, compilation and new tracks recorded between 2013 and 2018, the period spanning the release of full-length albums «Abyss of Longing Throats», «Hymns For The Broken, Swollen and Silent», and «Genocidal Majesty», in which the project’s sound became increasingly subtle when it comes to its production.

Note that this is not the first time that Gnaw Their Tongues releases an album comprising leftover tracks from a given period. The last time this happened, the result was the glorious relentlessness of 2012’s «Eschatological Scatology», which you can listen to below and obtain here in digital format.

As explained in a previous post in the band’s Facebook page, the compilation will feature so-called “old style (like more black metal) gnaw their tongues,” and will be released in digital format only at first, although “other formats may follow if labels are interested.”
